I also saw it in Eastman's Journal and inquired about it with my eye doctor. If you look at the main ingredients in Claroxan, it contains Bilberry - a vitamin you can buy OTC at WalMart for a few bucks. My eye doc says any good multi-vitamin has a lot of good anti-oxidants that essentially do the same thing as Claroxan at a much cheaper price. I think I would just take Bilberry at a few dollars per bottle and see if it helps without spending the kind of money they want for Claroxan.
