Clinetop Elk

Anyone hunt the Clinetop for Elk first rifle season. I just came off there today. Scoped lots of country late yesterday and early this morning. No Elk seen anywhere.

we have been exploring up there during the summer for years and have never seen any elk. We were just up there last Sat . I have friends that tried to hunt it and they didn't see any elk either and said there were people everywhere.

I think your scouting trip is par for the coarse. I know guys who swear by the area. I guess they know something I don’t.

Great looking Elk country but no Elk. Saw more bear crap than Elk nuggets.
