Just back from hunting southern Colorado and have a question. We were staying a relatives cabin on small acreage and the road to BLM crossed State Land Board property that a person had leased. That person was installing a fence and gate closing off our access to other small acreage and the BLM on the other side of State Land. We finally settled with person and paid a trespass fee to get to BLM. The road is supposedly made by rancher before dividing up and is border to all the small acreage. What is the rules? If the person had not let us cross we would have had to pack up and leave and turn in our license. Can that person cut off access?
