CO Private Landowner Tags

Hi all,
Can anybody tell me how the landowner permits work in CO, do you have to know the landowner to apply for the tag or is it like the CWMU units in Utah? Is there a way to get a list of landowners per GMU? I am confined to a wheelchair and am guessing that a landowner tag would provide the most accessible hunting as long as I can find a landowner willing to let me hunt. Let me know what you think.

Land owner tags must be bought directly from a land owner in Colorado. Once the Voucher is transfered to the hunter from the landowner you will need to take it to a license agent and redeem it and purchase your tag. By buying a Land owner voucher you are guaranteed access to the private lands which the voucher was issued.

PLO tags or private land Only tags are someting that you can apply for in some units and if drawn the tag is good only for use on Private land in the unit or units and the dates the tag states. There is no no guarantee that a landowner will allow you to hunt and in some cases a fee may be required for access.

Some land owner vouchers are issued for PLO Private land only and some are issued unit wide the ones that are issued PLO must be used on Private land anywhere in the unit that you have permission to hunt. Unit wide tags are good throughout the unit and of course the landowners private land that the voucher was issued for.
