I can understand that, but I compare this to the 35" buck from teh same unit that was posted by kilowatt a while back. I know there are bucks a lot bigger in this unit.
I am not one to focus on width, but more on the "wow" factor. That decision is made in the field for me, at the moment with a shot presented, I ask myself if that's the buck I want.....
The first year I hunted Colorado I tagged a smaller buck the second day of the hunt, then saw bigger bucks later on that I would have much rather taken. Had to spend the rest of the week watching other guys being the shooters and knowing it could have been me if I hadn't of shot the first decent buck I saw.
With this buck, I may be willing to shoot him just for the dropper. Never seen a public land buck (in person)that had a drop tine.
I will have 5 days before the season to scout as well.....
