You can now purchase raffle tickets online for the Colorado statewide bighorn sheep, mountain goat and pronghorn licenses. These licenses allow the winner to hunt in any open unit in the state (excluding desert bighorn) for up to 5 months depending on unit season dates. Tickets are only available for 3 more weeks.

You need a current internet browser to view the online sales page.

What? They couldn't find any big ones? Lol

Great sheep ColoradoOaks! Thanks for sharing the pics of some great rams and lucky tag holders. No doubt it will be a dream tag for the lucky winner!!!!

LAST EDITED ON Mar-16-14 AT 12:15PM (MST)[p]Thanks for reminder Oak, always forget how much earlier your raffle is than ours

For sure Jeremy's hammer is an all time CO monster, but I do agree with Slayer and Awriter that Mike's is the best looking...just an all around perfect ram

I do like the big based dropper from last year as well, thing's got that classic 'petroglyph' look to him, like some of the Utah deserts

Thanks again, great photos!

Cheers'

Thanks for the ticket purchase, greatwestern.

There are still some nice ones running around. Here's a photo from about a month ago. What do you suppose his "stats" are?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-19-14 AT 02:03PM (MST)[p]Paul Kinney drew his 2013 tag after only 16 years of applying in this relatively "easy" unit to draw. Imagine having 5 months to hunt the state with more Rocky Mountain bighorns than any other.

Those stud pictures just sucked a small donation from my wallet as well COak. Notice I called it what it really is. ha.
Thanks for the reminder.
It's always good to help neighboring sheep herds.
You CO boys do a bang up job!!

Thanks for the support, littlebighorn. I hope that it's more than a donation. I think CO somehow is a bit under the radar for many, regarding the size of rams.

Like deep curls? Galen Westfall's 2012 ram is so deep that it doesn't look 40 6/8" long. With 16 2/8" bases, he nets over 186".
