Received an e-mail yesterday from DOW regarding this issue. It appears our comments have stalled this issue within DOW.
##### Myers(Communication Center Manager) replied that after the public feedback sessions and other communications to the DOW that Director McCloskey's decision was not to move forward on this issue. However, the DOW will address the issue in the coming year.
All sportsmen that contacted Colorado DOW should be congratulated on their participation.
Obviously, this issue hasn't gone away and I would not be surprised to see the landowner/outfitter group try an end around and go directly to the state legilature.
I guess we must remain vigilant.
