Colorado muzzleloader deer vouchers

does anyone have a contact on any muzzleloader deer unit wide landowner tags for this coming season?

Not telling you what to do but you might rethink the muzzleloader hunt in Colorado this season as it is right during the middle of a FULL moon. Don't know if you buy any of the full moon stuff or not, but I do. Anyways, not the gospel but I just thought I would bring that to your attention. Best of Luck!!! Panhandle.

about a decade ago I had some hunting clients that would base their annual archery elk hunt almost SOLELY around which week in september had the "best" moon phase. They jumped around and switched weeks every year, and never killed anything (couple arrows slung, wounded unrecovered). The guys that came the same week every year regardless of external factors typically did better over the long run.

2 years ago my buddy killed a bull at 12 noon on the EXACT full moon day, 1st rifle season. You would be amazed at the mid day stealthy movement on or around the full moon.

As for the OP question, youll probably have to wait for draw results to come out in late may. Land owner vouchers are still issued as part of the draw, gotta apply and wait. And dont worry about the moon phase, go hunt. If it is a full moon though, be in the woods mid day when everyone with an excuse is back at camp.
