This past June I received an unexpected email from the Colorado DOW informing me that I had drawn 1 of 15 non-resident rifle tags for Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep. With over 15,000 NR applicants this year, I never thought I would draw and thought the email was either a hoax or I was hallucinating. Well, it wasn't a hoax and I wasn't hallucinating and with my amazing wife, Amy, by my side, I was able to harvest this beautiful ram on Day 2 with the assistance of Joe Boucher from Buena Vista. Colorado is my favorite state and at 13,000 ft, it is no small feat to chase these incredible animals around. I am now a happy member of the more than one but less than three club. Here are some pics for my fellow sheep hunting fanatics to enjoy and Happy Holidays to each of you!
