Hello Group,

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

I leaving tomorrow to take my son on his first elk hunt in unit 131 over by Craig.
We recently moved from Ks to Co and still getting familiar with the territory.

Does anyone have any pointers on where my son my get the opportunity to shoot a cow or where to stay away from?
The weather appears it going to be in the single digits and snow.

Any guidance would be very much appreciated my my son- he's so excited and want to. Get him on a nice cow.
