Colorado units 3 and 4

Has anyone hunted 3rd season in units 3 or 4 for mule deer in Colorado? I hunted 5 before but looking to try 3 or 4. Any info on numbers, quality, pressure? Thanks

I hunted unit 4 third season last year. The quality and quantity was way way down from previous years. I saw 4 bucks total, but their antlers were about as tall as their ears. I didn't shoot and came home empty handed. The locals said the last two winters were really bad for the deer herd and a lot of deer died. I talked to one group of hunters that were hunting unit 3 and they were having the same experience as I was. The hunting pressure wasn't too bad. I was hunting the north end of the unit. I don't know how it was in the higher elevations. Hope this helps somewhat. It was a very disappointing hunt for me.

I've hunted 3 in 2019 and saw a lot of deer. The bucks were small/young, but it hadn't got that cold.
