I'm hunting this fall in CO, but eastern CO, so the recent weather shouldn't affect me much.
But I've been reading articles telling everyone to stay away from 54 and the 60's, etc as your first choice due to the storm and recent die off. I don't know the exact effect of what this winter will do, but couldn't someone be an opportunist and enter in, on say 54, and draw with less points? You know the top point holders won't be burning points on the unknown, but you might get to go in there and low ball it and draw with little to no points. Surely the point requirements will fall for 2008 for these units.
Or would this even be worth it? I've never seen first hand the devastation a storm like this could do. Just an idea?
