So after reading everyone else's hunting plans for this upcoming season it just gave me the bug even worse! So guys Im going to jump on the bandwagon and give you guys the run down of my upcoming season.
I turned 18 this March and got quite the surprise, not only did i awake to a beautiful blonde girl making me breakfast....(Girlfriend) haha I also received a birthday card from my parents that included a Wyoming Unit 62 elk tag that I had absolutely no idea I had drawn! And best of all my father also drew a tag also. Then in May I graduated high school and the Colorado elk draw results came out and things only got better for me! I ended up drawing a Bosque Del Oso Bull tag for the third season. Wow lucky me, not one but two great elk tags in the same season. Later on when deer results came out I was unsuccessful in Colorado, partially because I drew a 2nd season unit 21 tag last year. But, my father ended up drawing a second season unit 10 buck tag and my little brother ended up pulling a late season (December) buck tag for the eastern plains buck tag around Genoa, Colorado. Two awesome deer tags in my opinion.
Thus my 2010 season looks like this......
1. September 1st-30 Archery elk in Wyoming. October rifle season if tag is not filled archery season. Hoping for a 300 plus inch bull.
2. Colorado (first week of archery season last week of august) hopefully obtain a left over archery ES deer tag and hunt bucks before I head to Wyoming.
3. 2nd Rifle season Northwest Colorado. Help dad with his unit 10 second season buck along with my younger brother has a cow tag.
4. 3rd Rifle season Southern Colorado. Bosque Del Oso tag. Looking for a 300 plus inch bull.
5. December Eastern Colorado. Help little bro bag a big plains muley.
Well thats my current agenda for the 2010 season guys I sure hope its one to be one to remember! I'll be posting some pictures later.
