Comment on Public Land

The BLM is soliciting opinions regarding the administration of public lands. Those who hunt should take time to suggest a reduction in the number of wild horses permitted on these lands. I recently observed 130 horses filing away from a spring in a unit supposedly limited to fewer than 30 animals, and if you think that does not degrade your deer hunting opportunities, then think again.

I hope others will do the same.
Wild Horses and Burros are wiping out lots of habitat for many of the species we love to pursue.

I got my own heads-up by reading a pro-horse editorial in the paper. I don't think this is what the author had in mind.
