OK, so I was reading a hunting magazine about a custom rifle builder that says he uses these. I have been on their website in the past, they look pretty good but I don't think I have ever seen them on a rifle ot talked to anyone that has actually used them.

They would be great for a lightweight mountain rifle, but not sure since nobody used them??

So what does everybody out there know about these - good?? Bad???
Thanks

They're nice, I have them on a rifle and I like them. if lightweight is your main concern the Talley's are lighter , but the Conetrol are better looking.

I have two sets of Conetrol scope mounts. One set on a Rem. 700 280 rem, one set on a Rem 700 22.250. Mounted them back in the late 1970's and have never had to retighten or anything. Very sleek looking, and strong mounts.

Tried a set. Pain in the butt and went back to Leupold's for a fraction of the cost. So in ounces or grams how much would you really save?
