Copper Clappers ( Classic )

Steve,

Jack Webb was born in 1920 and died in late 1982. I think this skit with Johnny Carson was done back in the mid-60's or maybe very early 70's but still a long time ago and one that was very funny when it was done.
I think the all time classic from Johnny Carson's show was when he had Ed "Mingo" Ames who played on the old Daniel Boone TV series. Johnny asked Ed to show how him to throw the tomahawk at a wood panel with a drawing of a cowboy on it. The very first toss and it stuck on the plywood panel in the crotch and the live audience along with the rest laughed for about 10 minutes. As usual, Johnny had the best one liners, something like "well he is Jewish now" and the laughs continued.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-12-06 AT 10:46PM (MST)[p]Good memories of the Tonight Show. Remember the night Raquel Welsh was on the show with a cat in her lap. She asked Johnny if he wanted to pet her ##### and he said "yeah, if you move that damned cat!"
