first let me thank the guys who gave some input on this topic. We spent a couple days roaming ALL OVER the southern portion of the range north to Cottonwood. I have never been to the moon before, but now i have been close!! What a DESOLATE, TREELESS, HOT, DRY and almost LIFELESS mountain!!! We did manage to turn up 13 total deer with 9 being bucks. The biggest being a 24-25 in willow horned 2x3, 2-2pts and the rest 3x's and 2x3's. It sure looks like the BIG HEADED NAGS have taken control of that range. And to make it even more lifeless, the 100's of acres of lush alfalfa on the back side (which were loaded with deer). It was great to get into the great outdoors and we have made the decision to save our long, hard earned points and try for a different unit next year. Any suggestions welcomed. Good Luck and Great Hunting!
