coues deer meat

I haven't seen any posts on this so I would like to see what you all say on this. I've eaten plenty of mule deer meat but until recently never had coues deer meat. Is it just my taste buds or is coues deer just better tasting? I found it to be a lot more tender and a more mild flavor.
 
It is better than carp deer. Much like trout is better than carp fish. ;-)!

From my point of view, Coues is milder than some of the rangy tasting Muleys, must be their diet. I seen em eaten catclaws like they were candy.

Coues deer meat is definetly the best tasting meat from the western states. I'll go with eastern whitetail meat as the all around best tasting. Can't beat them cornfed deer.
