LAST EDITED ON May-22-18 AT 04:02PM (MST)[p]My son, now 18, has been building points for several antlerless species. He had a great experience on a CWMU cow elk hunt several years ago as a youth harvesting his first big game animal and is looking to hunt cow elk again but this time with fewer points and harder odds as an adult.
He didn't draw a general season deer tag and we are looking for a late season cow elk hunt on a good CWMU. He has 2 points. Grass valley /Clark canyon is currently being looked at as an option but success rates and hunters experiences here seem to be inconsistent. Looking for advise.
I've received help from some of you on this site in the past and I've given help to some as well.
PM me with ideas or suggestions or your experiences. I'm willing to share info from his previous CWMU experience.
