Cows in SW Wyoming

I'm thinking about heading back to attempt to fill my tag on a cow in one of the general units. I'm pretty familiar with where the elk are in September but November/December not so much.

Anyone want to give me some tips or pointers on where to start?

I've only hunted them a couple times in Wyoming but here's what I've seen.

If it snows heavy enough they'll move down but if it doesn't, they'll be where you've found them in September. Elk usually seem to hang pretty high until they have to move.

Is that specific enough for you?

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will chime in.

Leaving in a few days for southern Wyoming for a cow hunt.Hope I can find them after the pressure from nearly two weeks of rifles season. The season runs thru November for cows.

A little more specific might be helpful on the unit you desire intel on?

Evanston access units?

Cokeville access units

Kemmerrer access units?

See what I mean--

enjoy for sure
