coyotes near reno

planning a trip to northern cali to hunt coyotes but our first day will take us to reno. just wondering if there was some public groung in the area that would be worth trying? i guess either side of the border would be fine.

Head north on 395 and either side of the border. Bordertown to Gerlach & south back to Reno. Get a few for me too.

You will find public land very plentiful!

A question: does California require nonresidents to have hunting license to hunt coyotes? (Nevada does not, unless you save the skins to sell)

Yep, Kali requires a hunting license to "take any bird or mammal". Its on pg 4 of the hunting book. I just wish they'd add mtn lions and political idiots to the list. We would have a heyday!

I saw this ad for pigs on CL, when I was looking for a quad. Never used them so I can't recommend.
