Cross Bow Question

My brother-n-law literally was run over by a truck two weeks ago. He got real lucky and only broke a few ribs. He and I have landowner tags for Unit 9 and we need to know if he can hunt with a cross-bow. We aren't coming until the second season, so he only has 3 more weeks to heal. Any thoughts or contact numbers would be helpful. Thank you

Why not ask Game and Fish?

My understanding is that it would have to be permission granted through the Game and Fish, otherwise you cannot use a crossbow on a bow hunt.

I was told that you are not able to hunt with a crossbow this year since it was not included in the proc. and to hunt during the bow season you must have an MI card.

Crossbow Use Allowed
Crossbows and bolts may now be used in ?Any Legal Sporting Arm? or
?Muzzleloader? hunts unless otherwise restricted
