CVA Scout

Does anybody have some first hand experience with the CVA Scout single shot rifle? Looking at getting one for fun, maybe a nice bear bait gun or something just a little different. Let’s hear thoughts, good or bad

I have one, 45-70 that I shoot cast bullets out of. It’s a decent gun, the trigger is surprisingly good.

I’ve owned 2 of the stainless scout rifles in the last few years. Both were light and really handy to carry. One in 350 legend the other in 45-70. Accuracy was great, I had no complaints especially for the money. Only reason they are not still here is we quit hunting the whitetail states that required straight wall cartridges. Kinda miss them tho, wouldn’t surprise me if I own another some day.
