I already read all of bluelks muzzleloader 101 chapters. Is there any tips u guys could give me about ml hunting.

Yeah Glock,

Don't use Bore butter on the barrel unless you have to and especially not for storage.....a great place to go is www.CVA.com and go to the chat forum....a ton of info for ya about your gun. Congrats on the new muzzle loader...you'll be addicted soon!!!

From my readings over at CVA.com, bore butter has it's limitations, but it's pros outweigh it's cons.

Do not store your rifle with bore butter in the barrel in a non-climate-controlled environment due to humidity.

Do not apply bore butter in near-freezing temperatures due to hardening.

Apply bore butter to work as a friction eliminator & shot placement improver.

Apply bore butter to bind projectile substances like poly, moly, copper, plastic and 209 primer residue.

Apply bore butter to allow 2nd practice shots with tight-fitting sabots in-between spit patches.
