D-19 Buck

Below is a picture of my sons D-19 buck. His name is Justin and he is 14 years old. This buck is his second in as many years. The buck is a 4x3 plus eye guards, 26" wide. He took the buck at 377 yards(on the range finder. It took him four shoots to hit it but still a good shot for a 14 year old.

That is one helluva a D19 buck. Curious what area you got him in.

My son drew youth tags there many years back and even that was a tough hunt.

I dont miss hunting that area. Overgrown, over crowded and the forest dept always seems to close the forest during hunting season.

The buck was taken Between Rouse Ridge and Bastista Canyon. We hunt from the top of the ridge to the bottom of Bastista leave a vehicle on the bottom so we are hunting down hill. We have done this for years and have been quit successful.
