dec cow hunts

i know the dec 1-5 hunt isn't over yet but i wana know how you guys did had two guys go out for the weekend but both came back empty handed in unit 2 another couldn't get close enough in 16c so not to good so far how did the rest of you guys do

We got a Cow opening morning in Unit 2.

We hunted hard for 4 days. My friend had a shot opening day at two cows but he had just flown in from Minnesota and the crosshairs would not stay still!!(LOL)

We seen Two bulls and two cows, that was it! There were no elk where you could get at them. The roads were Horrific. Just two dangerous to go back in on them.

The good news was we seen well over two hundred mule deer and they were in full rut.
