Deer survival near Monticello

I know that the southeastern part of Utah has been hammered lately. I have also heard that they deer have not been doing very well the past few weeks. Does anyone have any info. on conditions down there? Are we seeing die-offs to the extent that I am hearing about?

If so, why are we not hearing more about it?

I have worried about this too. My aunt lives right in town and has about a dozen deer basically wintering in her yard. A big die off is the last thing we need.

It looks like there will be a pretty big die off from the amount of snow they have gotten, The lucky deer are the ones that made it out to eastland area and into the canyons.

I hear that the southern part of Co. is getting hit just as hard around Dove creek area.
