Delores late deer tag

I will be going with my dad on his late rifle hunt in the Delores Triangle. Never been there, any help at all would be welcomed.

Start at the water and work your way up. If Colo gets snow you will have a good hunt. Summer scouting is a must IMO

A little weather dependant for a great hunt. Easy hunt. Fun hunt. can shoot a 170+ buck with out much trouble.

Thanks for the info, We plan on doing some scouting this summer. More to get a lay of the land type of scouting trip. We are hoping for the weather to help, but if not, we are no strangers in loosing some sole from the boots on the terrain. we love to hike and explore, with this type of hunt it just might be the ticket for a great one. Through in a couple of mature muleys and hey who knows if we might not even come home.
