DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer Maps

Do any of you use the state specific DeLorme Atlas instead of buying USGS or BLM maps. What are the disadvantages of the Atlas book of maps? I hunt different units regularly and it gets expensive to continually buy maps. Just looking for an alternative to buy the entire state at one time.

DeLorme does not show private in-holding on National Forest or National Grasslands. Detail on their maps leaves something to be desired for hunting. I use them but only in conjunction with a good topo or GPS/chip

I have a few state books and they are OK for general roads etc. For me they are just not detailed enough for private/public boudaries. And they do not have enough details for hiking. They also lack some of trails and the small roads.

I use them when I don't have the BLM maps but if I know I am serious about an area I will buy the individual 30X60 BLM maps.
