Currently Im deployed and I'm trying to do some research for my unit 36 Archery deer hunt in January. I deployed right after I found out I drew so I was not able to scout, however I will be back the first of December and plan to get out and look around during my R&R. any ideas? Im thinking about starting around Nogal Mtn. but I was wondering if Fs Rd 400 is closed or locked? Last March I was out looking for yots on the East side of 36 and saw a few bucks and noticed they still had their headgear. Sadly they were on privet land. Being that I can't call a biologist or the forest service this is my only way to reach out and try to get a little more info about this hunt.
