doctor 30x ? Big Glass

Im thinking of dropping the 15x swaros and getting a pair of 30x doctors binos for my long distance big glass. I have looked through them some but was wondering what kind of feed back some of you on mm might have on them??? could be a difference maker on this years mex trip.

Would agree with D13er. Had a pair of the 40x earlier in the year and decided I did not use them enough to keep them. If you are looking at getting them anyway I would look towards the 40x super wide angle that they carry. The field of view is much bigger and the size is the same. I have a pair of 15's and thought the samething- no way! Also, you have to have a pretty good Pack and a heavy duty Tripod to carry those around. They weigh in at 10.4 lbs. and are longer then all 80mm spotting scopes.
As far as seeing wayout- they are pretty hard to beat! Because they are so powerful you really have to watch the thermals.(heatwaves) Good Luck! Bill
