The next Governor will be decided on Tuesday. Three good candidates are running. However, I'm leaning towards Rita Meyer. Primarily because she's neither a rancher or attorney. No interest in Ron Micheli. The guy supported leniency for a violent rapist. More importantly the guy is 100% rancher. There's no doubt if a sportmans issue were to come up if he was in office and there could be any perceived conflict between hunting or ranching, he'll support the ag interests. I think Mead would be the same given his ranching background. Even though his family owns the Bobcat, Simpson probably doesn't know which end of a cow gets up first. None the less, he's courting the ag industry pretty hard which means more of the same. For you guys that are putting hunting and sportsman issues at the top of your list for Governor, that pretty much leaves Meyer. Either way, don't forget to vote...
