Doves around Belen area

Anybody seeing a good number of doves around Belen? Hoping to get out this year on opening day. Also hoping to get out and scout if possible. My son is asking about getting out and hunting doves for the first time. Thanks for any replies.

head south some. We hunted south of Soccorro last year and limited out in a couple of hours and we were not there at prime time. we didn't get there until around 11:00. missed 30,000 before I took my 15, at least it felt that way.
