Early rut?

Hey everybody,

Been out quite a bit this year throughout the state for archery, muzzle and early rifle deer. My buddy killed a buck two weeks ago in 7 that was already swollen, and I saw some elk bugling up north in the third week of august. I will be taking my son out this weekend as he didn’t find the buck he wanted in muzzle season. Hoping for an early rut. Anybody seeing any signs of the rut starting to turn on yet?

Don’t know about Nevada but we watched a buck chase a doe around with classic signs of rutting today in NorEast CA..he was running her all over the place

I sure hope we get an early rut. I have the late season tag in 7.

Definitely an early rut happening. Saw a pretty big bodied 3 X 4 in 196 Saturday morning swollen neck and chasing does. I was 15 yards from him and he didn't care. I was just out getting some time looking at deer. No tags in my pocket this year.

I like my 194 backyard phone skope hunts. I always get more action than my normal deer hunts.

My dad has a 291 tag across the road from you guys. Headed up this week during the weather and going to see if we can turn anything up. Hoping they are chasing
