Hey all, gonna head to Colorado for an O-T-C elk bow hunt. I have hunted in several areas but kinda like the North Park area. Least I think it's called the North Park area. Looking at an area east of Muddy Pass, Hwy 14 & 40. This area is in the Arapaho/Medicine Bow-Routt Forest . Some peaks in the area are Chimney Rock, Red/White side Mountain, Little Haystack Mountain. The roads are FS 103 & 700 and CR 53& 27. Anybody know this area? Roads average... good.... or bad? Just trying to figure out where to go. Been to the Grand Mesa and Uncompagahre and a few other places. Getting a little older each year and stay away from the super steep and really hard place to hunt. Thanks
