Eastern CO Mule Deer / Whitetail hunt

I have a friend that owns some land in south eastern colorado and I am just curious if this is a hunt that I should really consider. So does anyone know how the deer heard around Lamar, CO? All I know is that his ranch is located in this area.

Haha very funny. I'm thinking about giving this hunt a test drive during next years archery hunt. Could be very promising!

If he has creek bottom, he'll have the potential at great whitetails. CRP and stubble fields, very good muleys. Don't know what he has, but the potential is very good down there. Good luck.

All he has told me about the place is that his parents own some land (dont know how much) and that there is in fact a creek bottom running through the property. He has also told me that they have seem some nice mule deer and whitetails down there in the past. But it doesnt sound like his parents hunt it (which concerns me)but I might be wrong. I'll find more out on Monday when I go to class.
