It's getting UGLIER. I thought it was bad yesterday, but from this a.m. to now, damn.

If you've walked/hunted that area, which many of us have, it's a tinderbox of deadfalls 50years old, maybe older.
I don't expect this to be under control for awhile.
Used to be a great late season deer shooter as its the migratory route from the high country.
We shall see, well maybe not so much as the smoke is so thick you cannot see!

I have. I've done my fair share of pushing bush in Crystal Basin and surrounding areas. Mostly because of the proximity., but hunting is tough. There are deer (and bear) there for the taking, but man, the consistent 10-12% success is indicative.

And the 10-12% success are mostly from private property. So you're really looking at 3-5% success.
