Elk area 33

I will be passing through Wyoming in early to mid November so to try and make the trip somewhat interesting I bought a leftover cow tag for elk 33. From the looks of what I see on the maps and google earth there appears to be some accessible BLM near Barnum. I'll be camping and look to spend a few days as a meat hunter. ( can't believe I just said that )
Am I on the right track?
