Elk Numbers in the Wasatch?

Ive hit the Wasatch extended hard this year and I have seen some good bucks and lots of deer but now that my deer hunt is over im looking for Elk. I havent seen a single one in 10 trips. Are the numbers that low or have they not migrated in yet? Im not looking for a trophy bull but instead im hunting tasty backstrap!

Just be paitient Nv hunter its hit and miss ive seen elk everytime out this year just havent been able to close the deal yet youll see em when the snow flies.
