can anyone give me an opinion 67 first rifle elk or 231first rifle can't decide
 
I have hunted 231 several times,last year I never saw an elk,not even a cow. Nice area but gets to much pressure from all the hunters and push elk to far back in to reach on foot.If you have horses it would be better.
Last year first rifle season there was a camp about every 1/4 mile along the main road.
I saw alot of elk sign ,shows they were there in early season but nothing during first rifle season.I probably talked to twenty five other hunters and no one saw a thing.I am searching out some other areas for this year if I draw a muzzy tag.
