End this sad charade

I have the opinion that certain powerful individuals wanted it to be true and were blinded by their own agenda despite all the true scientists who were begging to be heard. I also believe they will never be held responsible. A sad chapter in world history.
 
Hope they end the madness but politics always prevails.
Speaking about politics several of us including EEL, on this forum tried numerous times to post up information trying to play down the madness and say treatment for most was being given. Some members of this forum knew first hand that some of the information we posted would help alleviate some of the concerns about the pandemic. Using their expert opinion went on to say that some of the treatments were ineffective and would cause more issues which is true of many medications but really didn't offer up much about most being treated at home and that it wasn't as lethal as being portrayed. One can only wonder as to why.........but given their intense hatred of Trump it paints a graphic image.

So those that tried are branded as alarmist's and those that knew but kept silent must feel some small sense of gratification letting the left cultivate the seeds of fear and all things anti-Trump, to promote the parties false narrative.

The problem is saying the rona was bad only justified their careers and salaries. It was a self-fulfilling prophecy..

Lay the blame where it really belongs. On the Democrats that prolonged the bad information in order to destroy Trump's economy in the hopes of defeating him in the election. Just look at all the Democrat governors and members of Congress that is still pushing a complete lockdown to bankrupt this country and allow them to seize power. Anyone who is still a devoted Democrat is a traitor to this country in my opinion and should be treated as such.

The media and democrats 100%. I know a lot of nurses where I am from. And they all say the same thing. Corona goes on death certificates that it shouldn’t. My dad was in the hospital a month ago, and was tested FOUR times. All just looking for a positive result to get the federal money.

I agree they over-diagnose to get money.

Who passed and signed the CARES Act which called for paying hospitals? Was is 100% Democrats and media who get that blame?

If the hospitals are committing fraud to get federal dollars, are they to blame? What about the Trump Administration who's just paying it out without investigating or enforcing?

A little while ago the Trump supporters were blaming Pelosi for downplaying it early on in regards to Chinatown, while crediting Trump for acting quickly in regards to travel. So which is it?

Did Trump act decisively to stop the spread? Or did he make a mistake and perpetuate a fraud?

Trump downplayed it for personal gain and to make sure that his house of cards economy stayed afloat. He, and everyone with a couple firing brain cells, had the data to confirm that once the virus showed up in the U.S. there was no putting that genie back in the bottle and it was going to spread.

Come on, did anyone, believe it when he said that " there are only a couple cases, pretty soon there will be none"?

The reason he down played the virus is because he didn't know how to respond, and in fairness, nobody really did. But, honesty isn't his strong-suit and anything perceived as a potential threat to his re-election is going to be downplayed, made fun of, lied about etc. etc.

Trump had the ability and opportunity to just flat admit it was going to be a problem and that nobody had all the answers. That we were going to try some things to right the ship, get testing ramped up, work on the vaccine, learn and make adjustments as we go. Admit up front that mistakes were bound to happen, nobody was/is expecting perfection in responding to a novel virus that turned into a world-wide pandemic. Hard to fault anyone, Trump included, if they just present the facts and tell the truth.

Trump downplayed to reduce the panic the Democrats would spread. Biden last might admitted he knew in January it was a bigger deal, but guess what he held rallies into March.
Pelosi, Deblaisio had photo ops in China town and said you were a racist if you did not come down?
Cuomo sent 10's of thousands of elderly to their deaths in nursing homes.

What did 1 Democrat do to help the situation?

Oh ya it was ok to riot....turn and burn cop cars but not attend church? Padlock parks while BLM burned down cities?
 
House of cards economy!!?? I'd say considering that it was almost completely shut down for quite a while, and still is in many states ran by democrats, it's a miracle that it's bounced back as well as it has. Thank God our economy was in such good shape before this, so that we were in a position to weather this storm.

His job is to tell the truth and keep the American People informed and that isn't too much to ask, or at least I didn't think it was too much to ask.

When Pearl Harbor was attacked...FDR didn't say someone forgot to put the plug in a couple ships causing them to sink.

Or when the world trade center was hit Bush Jr. didn't just say someone left a piece of toast in the toaster too long.
 
Yet again another left wing true blue answer. His job is to lead this country. He did what was needed to secure this nation and not create panic. Biden hiding in his basement shows his charactor. Kinda hard to lead in the dark basement if your a senile puppet of the socialist left wing Democrat party.

Well I think it was Trump who held press conferences every day for the public and paraded Dr. Fauci and others to the microphone. It was Trump who ordered the ventilators and field hospitals and the hospital ships into place, and ordered the vaccine to be stepped up. It was Trump who signed the emergency money bill all the while being a cheer leader and not preaching gloom and doom. Now the Dems say he didn't listen to the scientists.

 
Trump takes care of Trump’s. He doesn’t care about the American people. He was clueless on the Coronavirus and just now trying to make it sound as though he was wise, but left all of us in the dark for our own protection. He thinks he’s so much wiser than all others that lying is what the American Public needed at the time. Come on!!! Do people really think Trump is so much smarter and better than them that he needs to protect them from being stupid if they knew the truth?

But, no surprise, I think Trump is lying about lying to us. Lying about being a liar. Crazy!!! He might have been truthful about what he was thinking about the virus as it was spreading across the land and he thought warm weather would solve the problem. “It’ll just go away on its own.....”

It just gets crazier every week. We sure need another 4 years of this reality tv show.

Buzz them are the stupidest comparison I think i have ever heard. I think i saw on another thread on this site that someone pointed out FDR did not give a big announcement that Japan was planning on invading the west coast, he down played it. How about the Germans he wasn't making announcements that they had submarines within a few short hundred miles off of the east coast.

This pandemic should have been over along time ago. Other than a few isolated spots, like New York ( Democratic controled ) the death line on a graph does not follow the positive cases line on the graph. What does that tell you! That the overall deaths for most states are basically on par with previous years up slightly because we did have a virus effecting pepole but no different than the N1H1 virus that Obama had.

Nancy for downplaying early, Trump for acting early, Trump for downplaying later, Dems for overplaying later, the hospitals for over-diagnosing, the Dems and Trump for passing the bill that incentivized it, the media for talking about it even though FNC is watched by more than anybody else, FNC for not talking about it enough, the public who did stay home, the public who didn't stay home and went shopping, the public who didn't stay home and looted, the doctors that didn't take economic factors into account, the businesses that primarily took economic factors into account?

Who committed the fraud?

Looking back I don't think there was any fraud from either side. It was probably the media if there was. This whole shut down lock down thing was a failed panic/experiment world wide. The only Country that didn't lock down or shut their economy or schools down was Sweden and they are no worse than those who did and better death rates than most.

Grizz, could you imagine if trump didn’t sign that bill, that had funding for Americans who n it, what he would have been labeled as?! And I’m glad trump downplayed it. Could you imagine if he hadn’t?! They would be eating him alive right now over a virus that “only killed 180,000 Americans”, is what they would say. No matter what he does, people like you will be against him, and oppose his every step. Even when it is good for the American people. Everyone here knows he isn’t perfect, but we fight with you because you say and think everything he does is wrong.

And to answer your question, everyone helped overplay this. But the biggest culprits are dems and the media. They are attempting to stuff more funding in the next coronavirus bill for hospitals. I’m glad Republicans are saying HELL NO.
