Here's a few photos I took yesterday on the Rattlesnake. I was pressed for time and could not find any close large rams, but its always fun to photograph sheep.

There's a lot going on out there in nature, so take the time to show your kids what life should be about.

I'll post some more later.

Have a good one. BB

If those aren't some the best pics I've seen in a long time.

Wow Absolutely Awesome !

I envy you being able to get such great shots everytime.

I was using a Zukio 70-300 digital lens, which is equivlent to a 140-600 SLR lens.

Here are a few more photos from the Rattlesnake for those that like sheep.

I noticed the ram on the right and a single ewe up high just under some cliffs, so I wanted to make my way up there and take his photo. Soon I noticed the ram on the left come cruising down the canyon and walked right up and stopped a short distance above the lower ram. They both took a brief stance, they clashed horns, the upper ram knocking the lower ran right off his feet as the crack echoed up and down the canyon.

Buglinbilly;
Some of us just talk about sheep, others get out there and mix it up! Congratulations for the great photographs! You have made my day. You even caught the personality of the sheep.
I love it when others are willing to share their pix and stories.
My hat's off to you!
Zeke

I'd let the air out of the fourth ram down in the 1rst set of photos. Always wanted to shoot a ram that had a lamb tip on one horn, and was broomed on the other.

Thanks for sharing!!
