Have heard rumors the Game and Fish may have some extra tags to issue out this year. Has anyone else heard anything?

A few days before draw results came out, my father-in-law saw a news report outlining plans for 1,000 extra antelope tags in the Roswell district. Being retired NMG&F, he called and they told him 100 would be sold online in a firesale and 900 would go to landowners, since they would be dep tags.
