Feeling pretty un-lucky

Well I didn't draw anything in Arizona, just like the last five or so years . What a surprise. I want to do an archery deer or elk hunt of some kind. I really want to stick an arrow in a buck or bull (size doesn't really matter) I just want to get bloody . The earlier the season the better. I was thinking about somewhere I could drive to from my house in Southern California. I am not down with them flying bombs that people ride in. I was hoping you guys could put your thinking caps on and help a poor brother out with some suggestions. I hope you guys were luckier than I was.

P.S. Please no place where I would have to draw a tag, at the local casinos my friends have nicknamed me "black cloud" If that gives you an idea of my luck.

over the counter elk in colorado..about a month long..starts end of august...i thought deer tags archery were over the counter in arizona...good luck..hunt the hunt

Deer tags are OTC in AZ, you can hunt in August and December, you have the license anyways.
