Some bachelor herd, velvet whitetail photos from the last couple of evenings. I was fighting bad lighting conditions in this field, and lost a ton of other good shot opportunities, but I managed to squeeze out a few keeper shots.

Cool pics Bert! Them whities are almost glowing in that bright green... they don't exactly blend in do they?

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, they stick out kinda like an August coated muley above timberline. Especially with the very dark background behind their racks on the one. They almost look like I did a Hunting Illustrated number on them... but I promise I did no such witchery... maybe just bumped the color saturation up a touch...
