I am curious if you guys are finding fresh sheds in the same spots you normally do this year? I am not finding much of anything in my normal spots in western Colorado. We did have a lighter snow pack this winter.

one of the areas I hunt only has about 1/4 of the deer that are normally in there. No snow so they stayed up on the mountain this year, and are spread all over hell.

Have you ever been out hunting elk or something and you come upon a lonley, chalked out shed that is in the craziest place, like up near the timberline or on a ridiculously high windswept ridge or something? I always ask myself, "did a deer really shed this up here or was it brought up here by a human, coyote, etc." Well I think its years like this that result in sheds in crazy places. I have found sheds higher than ever this year and like everybody else has said, the deer are scattered everywhere. I'm guessing that, I'll find a bunch during bow season.
