Well myself and a buddy went out calling last Sat. and managed to put one on the ground. We saw others, but they were on private property and didn't come to us. This was our first trip since January of this year.

I was surprised how nice her pelt was for this early in the year, but it was 32 deg. when we got to our first stand. Then it warmed up into the high 80's by that afternoon and the dog's just didn't want to move. This was my first 2 pointer ever.

It was good to get out and get the AR warmed up for the season to come. I think it's going to ba a good year for us. We have a few spots that we found that look to be real good producers.

jarheadhunter.... Nice job on an Early Songdog, The mornings are cool here as well with the afternoons being in the high 80's so I will wait till after my Deer hunt in October to start my rein of terror!! Congratulations on some good team work and good luck in the future!

p.s. those are some sweet looking weapons of dog destruction you guys have!

Hunting is Life...everything else is
