My cousin and I were lucky enough to have drawn our first NM speed goat tags after years of applying. We had an awesome time hunting with family and friends. My cousin was able to harvest his buck first thing opening morning.
Here are a couple goats we glassed up the day before the hunt.
After passing on some smaller bucks, we were able to find this buck bedded with 15+ does around noon opening day. I am very happy with him and hope to draw another speed goat tag soon.
