I'm shooting blackhorn 209. After I'm done shooting I always do a complete cleaning. While at the range today I was told by the range master that a ML just needs to be lightly scrubbed with bore brush than run 2 clean patches no solvent or oiling, clean the breach plug very well and your done put the ML away until next time This cleaning method is supposed to help with accuracy. I've never done this. I've always go the extra mile and clean as good as possible using bore brush, solvents and oils patches and clean the breach plugs and firing pin.
Has anyone ever used this method of not using solvents or oils?
