I downloaded the Pro and can't tell any difference. But then again, I'm computer challenged.

Me too, but when I brought it up, there was a list on the left side and "google pro" was unchecked, so I checked it and it is a lot better than regular. Own 3 acres in Colorado, and it even shows the boundary of the lots in that subdivision even though it is 35 miles from the nearest town.

I wouldn't go off the property boundary lines for anything other than a general reference. On lines I know have been surveyed, Google is off 20-30 in numerous areas in Utah.

Pro allows you to import shape files, geo referenced tiff, and a bunch of other formats the free version wouldn't load. It's finally worth using.
